Why VitaAvanza exists

From feeling lost in a new country
to building an AI compass for the next generation.

VitaAvanza was born in Trento from a simple but painful experience: trying to build a life in a new country without a map. Between university, documents, work, money and mental health, everything felt fragmented. No one was really helping young people see the whole picture of their life.

Built by young people who lived the struggle
Made in Italy, designed for Europe

Founder’s note

“VitaAvanza started as a way to answer a question I kept asking myself in silence: How many young people are giving up on their future just because the system is too confusing, too heavy, too loud for their mind and heart? I didn’t want to be another sad story. I wanted to build a tool that turns our chaos into clarity.”

Samir Seddiqi, Founder & CEO
What VitaAvanza really is

Not just an app, not just a dashboard. VitaAvanza is a lifeline for young people — an intelligent layer that sits between you and the systems that shape your life: university, work, documents, money, wellbeing, and mobility. A calm, honest, AI-driven companion that helps you move forward.

Where our story begins

Arriving in Italy with a suitcase and a thousand questions.

VitaAvanza is deeply tied to Italy. It was born in Trento, in the corridors of the university, between waiting rooms, expired deadlines, late nights studying and early mornings at the questura. Our story is not theoretical — it is lived.

As a young international student, Samir had to navigate everything at once: building a future in a new language, grieving personal losses, staying “in corso”, finding work, understanding documents, and trying not to break mentally in the process. There was no central place that understood all of this together.

The idea behind VitaAvanza is simple: if systems are complex, the tool that helps you live inside them must be kind, intelligent and on your side — always.

2023–2024 · Seed of the idea
Multiple conversations with students, immigrants and young workers in Trento reveal the same pattern: burnout, confusion, missed opportunities and a silent sense of being left alone with “adult life”.
2025 · Concept becomes a model
The first structured version of the Development Value Index (DVI) and Mitra AI is sketched: a multidimensional model that helps you see your stability, growth capacity and life pressure in one place. It lives in notebooks, documents and architecture drafts — a clear concept, not yet a product prototype.
2026 → · From Trento to Europe
VitaAvanza S.R.L. is founded. The mission: start in Trento, build together with universities, regions and institutions, and grow into a European infrastructure that supports young people wherever they land.

Our promise to young people.

We don’t pretend to have all the answers. But we promise this: VitaAvanza will always be built with you, not above you. We will listen before we suggest, understand before we automate, and test every feature against a simple question — does this genuinely help a young person breathe easier and move forward?

In the coming years we want VitaAvanza to become a reference point across Europe for youth wellbeing and life navigation — a neutral, kind and intelligent layer between young people and the systems they navigate: education, work, health, documents and mobility.

Giving back as we grow.

VitaAvanza is not only a business project, it is a gratitude project. Gratitude to Italy, to the communities that supported us when things were hard, and to every young person who trusted us with their story.

As the company grows, we plan to reinvest part of our resources into scholarships, mentorship programs and free access initiatives for those who need support the most — especially young people facing migration, financial pressure or studying without a safety net.
